The day of Ukraine’s victory will be the day I dedicate to those who are no longer with us. To all those who gave their lives for our freedom. I will remember them and thank them.
After Ukraine wins, I will hug all my loved ones. I will go to visit our cities liberated from Russian occupation.
In post-war Ukraine, I want to continue pursuing my calling and passion in culture and cinema. I have a dream of making a film about Lesia Ukrainka [Ukraine’s most famous female poet]. I hope that I’ll have the opportunity to realize this creative goal.
For me, Ukraine of the future is a democratic, modern, intellectual, strong country. It should be an advanced innovative state with high respect for its own culture.
After the victory, I’d like the government and society to help develop and protect cultural institutions: museums, cultural and filmmaking foundations, etc. I want to see historical buildings and landmarks preserved. I’d like Ukrainians to value their historical heritage.
